Requirements: Windows 98/Me/2000/XP 128mb RAM, 10MB HD
DOROTHY is a compressed download file
that will expand and install on your c:\ drive in a folder named Dorothy
9_1 Demo Folder.
Here's an outline of how we are going to
proceed:
1. Download the compressed file(s) (see
step 1 below).
2. Double click on the file to install.
3. Start using DOROTHY.
Ready? Then let's
get started!
1. Click HERE to download the compressed file. A window will
appear asking you to save the file to your hard drive; Note the location
that the file is being saved to or choose a place to save yourself. Save
the file with the name "Dorothy 9_1 Demo Installer.exe" (the
default name). After it is downloaded (which will take 2-15 minutes,
depending upon the speed of your connection to the Internet), move on to
Step 2.
2. Navigate your way to the folder where
you saved Dorothy 9_1 Demo Installer.exe, and double-click on the Dorothy
9_1 Demo Installer.exe file. Dorothy will be installed in the
"c:\Dorothy 9_1 Demo" folder (Don't change the default install
location or the desktop shortcut will not work).
3.To open Dorothy, double-click on the
Dorothy 9_1 Demo shortcut or Dorothy 9_1 Demo inside the Dorothy 9_1 Demo Folder.
4. Passwords:
Full access: nmmea
Limited Access for students (no printing
or deleting privileges): student
Passwords are not caps sensitive. You
may change the passwords by accessing the password menu choice under the
file menu.
